Fashion Illustrated ~ Couple on Ossington
Qin and I were having a great sister time at Bellwoods brewery the other day, and who do I spot across the street, strolling Ossington? This wonderful couple! Don’t they look amazing?!
Thanks to Qin's photographic memory, here's a little sketch of the pair (ink on paper)

Qin saw this girl the other day and did a quick sketch of her. I really love the dynamic feel of this illustration and the snow brushing over her jacket. She looks so cool and fierce in our cold winter~

Dionne & Lauren Illustrated
Today, Qin sent me her representation of Dionne & Lauren, whom I had photographed a few months back.
I love it! It's so adorable and so close to the photos!

What a great pair ~ There's just such a cool vibe from these two, and I love how their styles complement each other, with one more boyish while the other more feminine. Great way to see how you can style differently a look with leather jacket and ankle high boots. They remind me of Qin & I in a way~

~ Fashion Inspiration ~
Here’s a little sketch of a girl, inspired from ‘Odile’, the character of Jean-Luc Godard 1964 movie “Bande à part”.
I was watching it last night and found the black and white images absolutely beautiful, and terribly inspiring!
…I found myself wondering, what the real colours of her clothes might have been.

~ Reading @ Dark Horse Cafe ~ Illustrated by Qin

A really cool girl we saw last weekend at Dark Horse Cafe in Toronto.
She had this amazing hair, and everything she wore matched perfectly.
Love the soft pastel colors of her outfit too!

Ran out of film when I saw her....I was so upset at myself for not bringing a spare roll. At least I've learned my lesson. So all I could do, was photograph her with my old 3MP cell phone camera and have Qin sketch her.
Her bold hairstyle gave her an edge, while that canary dress gave her feminity.
I think this mix of both hard and soft made her look lovely!
Dress: somewhere around Queen St. West & Spadina
Hair: cut herself ~ love the shaved side!

While I have my camera to capture people's fashion, Qin has her sketchbook
