Had some fun experimenting a bit with my film here. Opened the camera for a split second while the film was still in, which gave this subtle red flare in these shots.

She was such a sweetheart to talk to~  Love the little "air coquin" she gave to these shots, a real pleasure to photograph!

Lazy Sunday at Trinity Bellwoods Park ~ This is one of my favorite routine on my weekend street fashion strolls; I enjoy taking a break and grabbing a snack at Nadège, converse with many of the French speaking staff there, and finally go to my favorite spot in the park to snap shots of passers-by.
Btw, I recently discovered this lovely boutique, hidden in the back of "Silver Falls", a vintage shop on Ossington. This little gem called "Tusk" carries unique women's clothing along some funky eyewear and jewelries. This is where I found my dress from SomeDaysLovin, an Australian brand. And it was the last XS! It definitely felt like my lucky day ~

I really liked her look, which actually matched with her personality: super laid back and easy going. If only I had another roll on me, I would have liked to snap a few more shots of her.

I had the great pleasure to meet Mahro, owner of Mama Loves You Vintage, a real gem in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Opened last December 2012, the mother-daughter team originally from Vancouver has done its magic by bringing to Toronto a refreshing bohemian vintage vibe.
Most of their items come from Vancouver, ranging from bags hanging on the walls, vintage suitcases filled with hats/scarfs/ties, counter loaded with unique and eccentric accessories and sunglasses, to a colorful medley of dresses and shirts that will satisfy both girls and boys.
This place is definitely worth stopping by, whether on a shopping spree or simply to enjoy the eclectic decor or a nice chat with Mahro~

I've always envied those few Asian girls who can really pull off the bleach blond hair look, and she is definitely one of them! Simple summery look with an edge, just the way I like it.

~Paris~

Qin and I just came back from a memorable (but unfortunately too short) week in Paris and Bordeaux.
We spent our childhood in Bordeaux, but didn't get the chance to go back ever since. After 20 years away, needless to say that it was a reunion we had been longing for!
