~ Night Out @ Cold Tea ~ Meagan & Melissa

Cold Tea is definitely one of my favorite go-to location in Kensington Market~!
Beer at a very decent price, great interior design with rustic wooden benches, molding details on the walls, and a mixture of detailed wall papers with vibrant green paint. And to top it all, plenty of stylish people~
Spotted those two girls from a distance on the patio and asked them for a photograph. I really loved the background in this shot, which I find complemented these girls' styles.
I was pretty excited that night as I had decided to bring a flash for my vintage Minolta. Unfortunately, it was so dark outside, that I could barely see the settings on my camera, which resulted in underexposed shots as my flash failed to trigger. Luckily enough, with the help of my friend's iphone and some of my photoshoping skills, I managed to get a not too bad photo of these two lovely girls.

This group of artist (except for one of them) was quite unique in their own way.
A really friendly bunch~ They were talking so much, and about so many random things that it was practically impossible for me to follow at all :)
I don’t have names for any of them, so let me just go in order from left to right!

I'm so pleased with this shot. The location, the people walking around the car, staring at it, those guys "à la James Dean", ...everything just works perfectly!

These two were such a pleasure to shoot! Really two sweet hearts, I'd love to run into them again some day.
When I asked them about their favorite item, Annika took out of her bag this lovely hand knitted sweater she received from her teacher in Norway during her stay there. It got so hot that day that she ended up taking it off and didn't have it on in the first shot. But as I requested for a 2nd shot of her sweater, she insisted on wearing it.

Notice my backpack on the ground, hiding her shoes....tsk tsk tsk, very unprofessional of me...

The last shot was a lucky one. I actually wasn't looking through the viewfinder at all and pressed the shutter by mistake as I was setting up the camera.. glad it turned out fine !
